  1. How much does the program cost?

    The Long-term Care Group Specialist program fee is $1195. The Certified Care Resource Specialist program fee is $1195. Both programs cost $1695. These program fees are all inclusive.

  2. Do I have to pay the program fee at one time?

    You can if you want to, but we offer payment plans for three monthly installment or six monthly installments also. We do accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express. Are the classes self-study or offered in a classroom? Our classes are in a self-study format.

  3. What is the enrollment process?

    • Call 800.327.7138 or email info@carequestu.org and we will send you an application and a background check release form.
    • When we receive your application forms we will conduct a background check to verify your license and that you have not been convicted of a crime that would compromise the integrity of our programs. We are not interested in your personal or financial history.
    • Once the application process is complete we will mail the course materials, study guide, and student number and password to you.
    • When you have completed all program courses, contact us and we will schedule a time for you to take the exam.

  4. How long does the application process take?

    Once we have received all application forms from you, the process takes less than five business days. Generally, we can have the program materials to you within one week of application submission.

  5. How many hours do I need to complete the program?

    Everyone is different; however, most associates can complete the coursework in less than 40 hours.

  6. What is the examination process?

    There is one examination for each designation. When you have completed all program courses, contact us and we will schedule a time for you to take the exam.

  7. How is the test given?

    The test is given through our Web site and is scored immediately. The test is open book.

  8. How many questions are on the test?

    The test is approximately 175 questions.

  9. How long do I have to take the test?

    180 minutes

  10. What is a passing grade?

    70% or above

  11. If I fail the test can I take it again?

    Yes, you have three tries to pass the test.
